Biomedical Science Building
The Biomedical Sciences Building is a 163,000 SF biomedical facility, providing approximately 98,000 SF to house the research and administrative operation of the biomedical engineering, sciences and animal resources. The physical and cultural integration of the Biosciences, Medicine and Biomedical Engineering with the BSB building provides synergistic and collaborative environments that establish UF as a leader in interdisciplinary biomedical science, engineering, technology, translational research and technology transfer. A state-of-the-art vivarium facility in the same building allows UF researchers, housed in the BSB and across campus, access to an outstanding biomedical research infrastructure. The project has been awarded LEED® Gold certification.
