The Del Amo Fashion Center project was a two-phased, three-level regional luxury shopping mall expansion within a multi-phased redevelopment. The Phase I and Phase II projects were the largest and most complex portions of the redevelopment. When this project was initiated, it was the largest retail redevelopment project planned on the west coast in three years and the fifth largest operating mall facility in the country.

Phase I included a revitalization and update of 93,000 SF of interior common areas within an active mall and interior construction for a new food court to serve as a focal point for the overall future mall. Phase II consisted of demolishing 300,000 SF for tie-in of a 600,000 SF, two-story addition, which is surrounded by two major mall anchors and an active lifestyle center. The project also included 30 acres of site improvements.
