This 233,000 SF, three-story facility features a hospital, medical office plaza and wellness center joined by a shared central lobby. The facility was designed to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients in Lubbock, Texas and the West Texas region.

The building is a steel framed structure and its façade is composed of curtainwall, fiber cement panels, natural stone panels and aluminum composite material panels. The curtainwall system features electrochromic glass, which automatically adjusts its tint and transparency. This feature allows for effective management of lighting and heating within the building throughout the day, enhancing the building’s energy efficiency. Centralized heating and cooling systems serve the building, while roof-mounted air handling units are configured to meet the specific requirements of the building areas they serve. The lobby floors incorporate radiant heating loops within the concrete slab. The building is equipped with an emergency power system that is served by two, standby-diesel generators. Advanced fire systems were installed and includes specialized monitoring for the X-ray rooms.
