Dundalk and Sollers Point Technical High Schools
About
THIS PROJECT
The new high school facility merges Dundalk High School with the nearby Sollers Point Technical High School. At 365,000 SF, it is the largest project to date for Baltimore County Public Schools, which is the 20th largest school district in the country. The school includes program requirements needed to facilitate the operation of each high school independent from the other. There is a main street component to the design that allows for each of the schools to maintain their individual identity, but it also provides shared spaces such as the cafeteria, media center, lobby and auditorium. The project also included a 1,500 SF stadium with a press box, stadium lights, track and field, and concessions.
