Whitehall Mill is one of a handful of surviving early textile mills along the Jones Falls in Baltimore. It was constructed from 1865 to 1875 after the original Whitehall Flouring Mill, built in 1798, was destroyed by a fire. The former mill is now a mixed-use facility and includes:

The cupola was rebuilt during the renovation after being removed in the 1950s. It was recreated from old photos of the mill and makes the low-lying building more visually appealing from the road.
