Sea Turtle Hospital Expansion

THIS PROJECT
This two-phased project consisted of 3,900 SF of demolition and renovation to the existing rotating exhibit in the South Carolina Aquarium. The new hospital included exam rooms, operating rooms, a pharmacy, lab and office space. A CT room was also constructed where guests can view CT process. The live exhibit area includes a platform with seven fiberglass saltwater tanks for rescued sea turtles, as well as visual and interactive exhibits, and a small theatre with murals painted by local artists.
