La Jolla Commons III

THIS PROJECT
La Jolla Commons III is a 212,800 SF, 11 story, Class A office tower with two single-story amenity buildings totaling 12,100 SF. Each floor of the office tower was designed with open floor plans and knockout panels to allow for future flexibility. This allows tenants to occupy and connect multiple floors of office space. Features of the amenity buildings include:
- Indoor/outdoor fitness center
- Restaurant
- Outdoor patio
- Coffee bar
- Conference rooms
- Training facilities
The exterior facade included a curtain wall, storefront, custom powder-coated perforated panels, and a stick-built louver system from Belgium. A 171,500 SF, three-level parking garage with 374 parking stalls was built below the office tower. The sitework associated with the project included hardscape, landscape and roadway improvements.
This project is Whiting-Turner’s third office tower on the campus. The project has received Fitwel Certification.
