The Front Street District Garage is a four-level, precast parking garage in the Front Street District at Adrian’s Landing. This 105,000 SF parking structure has 261 parking spaces and includes a garage security office, three stairwells, wet/dry storage rooms and a 4,700 SF loading dock to serve the district’s retail tenants. The structure for the garage is precast concrete on top of a caisson and grade beam foundation, and the exterior façade is made of precast concrete panels with a standard picture frame reveal.

This project was in close proximity to the Front Street District Retail project, which was being constructed simultaneously. This required careful coordination because the garage and a retail building are joined by a corridor that connects to the garage lobby. This project was also part of an OSHA partnership agreement made between Whiting-Turner and OSHA for the entire Front Street District area.
