This project was a 30,000 SF restoration/renovation of the historic Howard Theatre, which was originally built in 1910 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The project recreated an entertainment and dining venue with over capacity of over 1,200 people. The updated facility includes:

The seating includes a combination of fixed banquette seating and loose tables on the first floor and fixed banquette seats on the second floor balcony. In addition, the back-of-house area includes green rooms, a management office and back stage lighting and control rooms. The project also included challenging foundation work, which involved supporting the existing structure while a 10,300 SF basement was excavated and constructed under the theater.
