THIS PROJECT
This 226,000 SF, seven-story building provides resources for biopharmaceutical research that will help prevent and treat many predominant human diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, diabetes and cancer. The facility features 84 laboratories, 14 cell culture rooms, 12 microscope rooms, five cold rooms, two seminar rooms and collaborative spaces. The building is a hub for the National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL), the Delaware Biotechnology Institute, and the University of Delaware Biomedical Engineering Department.
