Rash Field Park

THIS PROJECT

This project redeveloped Rash Field into a multipurpose park with educational, recreational, health and wellness, and entertainment spaces. Recreational spaces include a beach volleyball court, fitness area and field. Additional park features include:

The BGE Nature Park

A recreational nature park with native plant gardens, secret pathways and fallen logs.

The Adventure Park

A playground with two, 30-foot wooden towers and additional playground equipment imported from Germany.

The Shade Lawn

Displays waterfront views with porch swings and a stormwater feature with an outdoor educational space.

Jake’s Skate Park

Features a bowl, mini ramps, rails, ledges and transfers.

The BGE Pavilion

Holds a café, restrooms and shade structure to keep the outdoor seating cool during the summer.

An overlook

With a green roof located on top of the BGE Pavilion that includes curved pathways and a view of the waterfront.
