This mission critical facility with Tier 3 and Tier 4 construction includes:
- Multiple UPS Systems
- Two 1.5 MW generators with a seven-day run time capacity
- Redundant utility feeds from different substations
- Redundant A-side and B-side electrical rooms
- MF rooms
The buildings are highly protected, and a separation of utilities between hardened and non-hardened areas allow for uninterrupted operations in the event of the destruction of non-hardened areas. The facility was built to withstand an EF-3 tornado strike and ballistic impacts, and it can function without public utilities for an extended period of time. The facility also includes an on-site helipad in case roadways are closed or congested.
